I got this storage ottoman to put in the living room for extra toy storage. It is very roomy inside holding all of the toys with room to spare. The construction is very sturdy. The lid remains open while the children remove toys so no worries of little fingers getting mashed. It is much safer than a traditional wooden coffee table due to the cushion on the top. I may even get a second one for storage of backpacks and winter gear in the entryway. Very good deal for the price!!

I was really looking forward to getting this item - it seemed like a perfect place to store my vinyl LPs and provide some occasional extra seating. The dimensions given may be correct, but the seat has a lining on the bottom, which effectively cuts off an inch or two, so my albums couldn't stand up inside the ottoman. I removed the lining, so it looks like I'll get what I wanted after all. The legs are described as wood, but mine are basically square blocks of plastic (with a metal screw thru each leg) - I didn't see anything on them that looked like wood. One of them wasn't attached, and when I tried to screw it in, I found that the pre-drilled hole in the ottoman is apparently stripped. The leg falls out whenever I move the ottoman even a little bit. I'll drill another hole - it beats having to send the thing back and wait for another one. Overall, it looks pretty decent, and with some slight modifications, it will do what I had in mind for it to do.
